On April 28, 2023, the Jury returned a defense verdict in Thompson v. Murray City School District, Case No. 190903583, Salt Lake County, Judge Kara Pettit.
The jury found that Ms. Danielle Humphreys was not negligent or did not fail to use curriculum that met the appropriate standard of care and/or fail to educate or protect August Thompsen from weightlifting injuries.
